Ball Joints
Ball joints are the pivot between the wheels and the suspension of a car. They are mostly used in the front suspension but are also used in the rear on cars with a double wishbone suspension. They have a critical role in the car’s steering and suspension. Hardrace offers OE replacement ball joints and so called roll-center adjuster ball joints, also referred to as extended ball joints. Roll-center adjuster ball joints
Roll center adjuster ball joints are used on lowered cars. As lowering your car puts off the suspension geometry of your car drastically. There are many components affected by this, such as the control arms. When you lower your car, the control arms which are mounted to the chassis are also put to a lower position, making that the control arm does not sit flat as they used to prior to lowering the car. The roll center adjuster puts the arm back to it’s original position resulting in increased steering response and stability while eliminating bump steer.
