Anti-rollbars

Hardrace anti-rollbars, also called sway bars, are designed to keep the balance and improve the handling of car. They also help maintain traction in any performance-driving situation and are an update to the standard suspension system. Anti-rollbars are used to reduce body roll while cornering, and also change understeer and oversteer characteristics of the car. Read more

A stiffer sway bar

Other than the obvious reason for not making your call roll over. You may want to consider taking a sway bar/ upgrade your sway bar in the following situations:

I want to reduce understeer.

  1. Install a rear sway bar if you don’t already have one, if you already have one, increase the stiffness if it’s adjustable. If it’s not adjustable, you may opt to take a stiffer sway bar.
  2. Remove the front sway bar or decrease the stiffness of the front sway bar. Again, if it’s adjustable, decrease the stiffness. If it’s not adjustable, you may want to opt for a less stiff sway bar

I want to reduce oversteer.

  1. Basically, you’ll do the opposite to when you want to reduce understeer. So you’ll install a front sway bar if you don’t already have one, or you’ll increase it’s stiffness/ buy a stiffer one.
  2. Remove the rear sway bar or decrease the stiffness of the rear sway bar. If it’s adjustable decreasing the stiffness is preferred. If it’s not adjustable you may opt for a less stiff sway bar.

Hollow structure

The sway bars produced by Hardrace have a tubular structure causing them to be lighter compared to solid sway bars. Yet they do keep the same rigidity because they have a larger diameter. Due to their hollow structure they are lighter compared to OEM or other solid sway bars resulting in decreasing weight without neglecting any of it’s characteristics.

Adjustable sway bars

Hardrace sway bars have the possibility to be adjusted making them stiffer or softer. They have 2 or sometimes even 3 mounting points to stiffen or soften the suspension based on the driver’s needs.
